The Mariah Award
was first presented in 2003 by Mr. and Mrs. Charles W. Chaillet, Jr. in
honor of their own special needs Newfoundland girl who not only taught
them many lessons in what the term "life disability" meant, but showed them the
true meaning of the terms determination, courage, tenacity, stoic and love.

4-H Club Member must have been an active Best Friends 4-H Club member for
five years.
